I have Grip Control on two of my handguns and I’m hoping BlackSteel will expand its lineup more so that I can put them on my other handguns. Grip Control really enhance the gripping force of my support hand, especially during rapid firing. I’ve been using thumb-rest/gas-pedal for my competition handguns (even .22 pistol) for years, I know they works. However, I have to remind myself that it is only for competition and shouldn’t be spoiled by them too much, for my carry guns don’t have them. Now, I can enjoy the same benefits on my carry gun with the Grip Control, which is basically a thumb-rest/gas-pedal with a foldable pad. As BlackSteel website shows, you can modify the Kydex holsters with heat gun in order to custom fit your carry gun with Grip Control. Highly recommended!

“When I receive the package and opened it, I was very surprised to see that the canister was personalized with my name on it! A very nice gesture on your part. My Grip Control is for my Sig P365 XMacro. It took me a whole 10 minutes to install it, as I am in no way a professional gunsmith.
Used denatured alcohol on my holster to allow the weapon to sit over night (in a plastic bag, of course) so it would contour to the leather, which it did nicely. Weapon goes in and out with no problem at all.
As far as shooting, the Grip Control is a very nice addition. It allowed me to keep on target and keep my red dot in view at all times, including rapid firing. I would recommend this device for anyone with smaller hands that could use a bit of help with recoil on their handgun.”
